Nancy Balentine, a local quilter, began quilting when she was 35 and has continued to the present. The first part of her program will feature quilts that honor children’s art and needleworkers’ pieces preserved in quilts. The second part will feature quilts that teach literature, featuring fables, favorite stories and the Bible. The final part features quilts that are uplifting and cheerful. These will include recreations of Amish quilts and simply playful pieces.
At the Carriage House. Non-members $2.00; members free.
